The VINA Agency and the artists involved in the ballet “The Dance of Polygamy” are donating sports equipment to young athletes in the city of Inhambane and supporting victims of the tropical storm “Filipo” that hit the districts of Govuro and Vilankulo.
For the young athletes, the VINA Agency will provide a set of volleyball balls to encourage sports practice among youth. The beneficiaries of this specific support are young volleyball players who see this sport as a way of social integration. For the VINA Agency, supporting sports practice is an investment in the training of healthy citizens, as well as steering youth away from deviant behaviors.
In turn, the artists involved in the ballet “The Dance of Polygamy” will offer clothes and other products to the victims of the cyclone “Filipo”. The musicians, dancers, and reciters of the piece understand that solidarity is a fundamental value for building a just and harmonious society.
The ballet “The Dance of Polygamy”, created and directed by choreographer Casimiro Nhussi, will be performed this Friday, April 19th, at 5:00 PM, at the Eduardo Mondlane Industrial and Commercial Institute of Inhambane. The show produced by VINA Productions is part of the celebrations of World Dance Day, annually observed on April 29th.
