Mozambique: Bad weather forecast for the southern region

The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) predicts strong winds with gusts of up to 70 kilometres per hour in the southern region of the country by the end of the day.
According to the INAM warning, the winds will generate waves up to five metres high south of the 24th parallel.
The note also states that a sharp drop in maximum temperatures is expected at the end of the day, as well as rainfall and local winds with gusts in the coastal districts of the provinces of Maputo, Gaza and Inhambane.
