There are growing fears that the insurgency in northern Mozambique and the ongoing attacks against gas projects there could negatively affect investor sentiment in the entire SADC region.
Wednesday’s attack on the small coastal town of Palma in Capo Delgado Province has forced multi-national oil companies operating in the area to cease operations and evacuate their staff.
South Africa’s Ambassador to Mozambique, Siphiwe Nyanda joins me now LIVE. He is also a former Chief of the South African National Defence Force.
