Mozambican Bar Association calls for policies aimed at promoting social equality

A Mozambican delegation headed by Mozambique’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, Carlos Mesquita, last week participated in the Second African Union – European Union Ministerial Meeting, in Kigali, Rwanda.
The 26th of October meeting served to appreciate and approve the Joint Communiqué on political, social and economic cooperation, especially considering the impact and challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic.
On the sidelines of the ministerial meeting, Minister Mesquita held bilateral meetings to boost political-economic cooperation with Romania, Austria and Hungary.
Minister Mesquita’s delegation also included the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Carla Alexandra Fernandes Louveira, Mozambique Ambassador to Ethiopia and the African Union, Alfredo Fabião Nuvunga, and staff from the Mozambique’s ministries of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, of Industry and Trade, and of Economy and Finance.
