Lucília Nota Hama, the president of the Committee on Social Affairs, Gender, Technologies and Social Communication, the 3rd Committee of the Assembly of the Republic, is encouraging the National Union of Journalists (SNJ) and the national journalistic class to together seek a consensus that could contribute to the approval of the proposals for the Social Communication and Radio Broadcasting Law submitted to the Mozambican parliament in the last legislature.
Hama took this position in Maputo this Tuesday (11-03) at a meeting between the 3rd Committee of the Assembly of the Republic (AR) and representatives of the SNJ, having stressed that the lack of consensus among journalists had contributed to parliament not considering those instruments in plenary, even after consultations had been held.
