Mozambique: Another deadly accident on the EN4

An accident on Tuesday afternoon on National Road Number Four (EN4) in Maputo province killed at least two people and injured three.
The cause of the accident was irregular intersection behaviour by a car travelling in the Maputo-Matola City direction, which crashed into another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
The two dead are members of the same family, and the injured the occupants of the other vehicles involved in the accident.
This is the second deadly accident on EN4 in less than a week. The lack of a central barrier on the recently rehabilitated highway between traffic travelling in opposite directions is highlighted as one of the main causes.
