Mozambique and Thailand will implement a visa-free agreement between the two countries for holders of diplomatic and service passports, the Mozambican government announced on Saturday.
The agreement was signed during the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique, José Pacheco, to Thailand, which took place between Monday and Wednesday of last week.
The Mozambican official signed the document with his Thai counterpart, Don Pramudwinai, in Bangkok.
During his visit to Thailand, José Pacheco “visited rural development projects and an economic venture linked to the exploration and production of natural gas”, thereby focussing on areas of cooperation with Mozambique, the foreign ministry announced in a statement.
