Mozambique: Central bank increases percentage of foreign currency to be converted

Angola’s Foreign Minister, Téte António, arrived yesterday (22) in Maputo to participate in the 10th Session of the Joint Commission of Cooperation Angola/Mozambique, to be held today (23).
Under the theme “Mozambique and Angola Together for Economic and Social Progress,” the meeting will evaluate the projects in progress between the two countries, review the ongoing Agreements, and consider the Report of the Meeting of Senior Officials held on Sunday in Maputo.
The 10th Session of the Joint Commission of Cooperation Mozambique/Angola will also review bilateral issues in the areas of Politics and Diplomacy, Defense, Interior, Territorial Administration, Economy, Finance, Transport, Communications, Industry, Trade, Energy, Mineral Resources, Petroleum, Public Works, Agriculture, Fisheries, Sea, and Environment.
In a press release, the Angolan Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarifies that the event represents the firm commitment of the two countries to strengthen a historical relationship that dates back to the early days of the national liberation struggle for independence.
