The agreements allow intervention throughout the entire oil and gas value chain, expansion of the gas distribution network for domestic consumption, and the sharing of the North African country’s experience with Mozambique’s National Hydrocarbons Company (ENH).
According to Pale, speaking during the ceremony, the signing of the agreement between ENH, and its Algerian counterpart SONATRACH, will boost the development of both countries in energy.
Mozambique aims to expand its natural gas distribution network for domestic consumption and develop natural gas-based industrial projects.
“ENH will gain from SONATRACH experience in research, hydrocarbon production, and the provision of services throughout the oil sector value chain, including seismic surveys, repairs, and drilling, taking into account Algerian experience”, Pale said.
