Mozambique: President begins 3-day working visit to Niassa - Watch

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has dismissed Alfredo Fabião Nuvunga as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mozambique to the Federal and Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
In a separate presidential order, the head of state appointed Domingos Estevão Fernandes to the position of Deputy Permanent Representative of Mozambique to the United Nations.
Alfredo Fabião Nuvunga had been appointed ambassador to Ethiopia on 21 December 2020.
Alfredo Fabião Nuvunga is also ambassador of Mozambique to the African Union.
Domingos Estevão Fernandes was High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique to the Republic of Botswana until the 2nd of September of this year, when he was dismissed from his post by the president.
