Mozambique: Aircraft unable to land in Mueda due to bad weather – Noticias report

A Mozambican Air Force aircraft was unable to land on the runway in the town of Mueda today due to bad weather, Noticias reports.
The Antonov aircraft was transporting the delegation of the Minister of Culture and Tourism Eldevina Materula and journalists from Notícias, Televisão de Moçambique, Radio Mozambique and the Instituto de Comunicação Social, who were traveling to Mueda to cover the inauguration tomorrow of the local Praça do Metical, to be attended by President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi.
Weather conditions forced the aircraft to return to Pemba. It will only be able to return to Mueda when conditions improve.

Más condições atmosféricas dificultaram esta manhã aterragem da aeronave da Força Aérea de Moçambique na pista da vila de Mueda.
Trata-se da aeronave Antonov que transportava a delegação da ministra da Cultura e Turismo Edelvina Materula e jornalistas do Notícias, TVM, RM e ICS, que se deslocavam a Mueda para fazer parte e cobertura jornalística da cerimónia de inauguração da Praça do Metical, a ser orientada amanhã pelo Chefe do Estado, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi.
Devido às condições atmosféricas inadequadas, a aeronave teve que regressar a Pemba, onde só poderá retornar a Mueda se as condições melhorarem.
