The Africa International Tourism and Economic Council (AITEC World) recently announced the appointment of Honorary Consul Dino Foi as its Regional Representative for Southern Africa.
A statement from AITEC World noted that Foi’s appointment reflects his vast experience in international relations, economic development, and tourism promotion—areas in which he has distinguished himself as an accomplished honorary diplomat and business leader.
The organization emphasized that Foi’s expertise and influence will play a critical role in advancing the Council’s mission of strengthening tourism and economic cooperation within Southern Africa, while building bridges with the global community.
AITEC World also expressed its expectations for “dynamic contributions” in shaping “a stronger, more connected African and global tourism economy”.
Born on September 30, 1974, in Inhassunge, Zambézia province, Dino Foi completed his primary and secondary education in Maputo, where he moved in 1985 from Quelimane.
Dino Foi holds a degree in Economics, a master’s degree, and two doctorates. He is currently developing several projects—particularly in the agricultural sector—in addition to his involvement in international initiatives.
AITEC World is an international organization dedicated to promoting sustainable tourism and economic growth in Africa by fostering cooperative ties between the continent and the global community.
