Forty new classrooms will soon be operational in Inhambane, Radio Mozambique reports.
The classrooms are under construction in the districts of Massinga, Jangamo, Inharrime, Vilankulo, Mabote, Inhassoro and Govuro.
According to the same source, this Tuesday, construction work began to build eight classrooms at the 25 de Setembro Secondary School in Mudauca, Massinga district.
The first stone for the construction of the Mudauca classrooms was laid by the governor of Inhambane province, Eduardo Mussanhane, who said that the government would continue working towards improving teaching and learning conditions in the province.
The students of the 25 de Setembro Secondary School in Mudauca are eagerly awaiting the completion of the construction work.
Once built, the 40 new classrooms in the province will benefit a total of 4,000 students in the various education subsystems, who will no longer attend classes in precarious conditions.
