The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Margarida Adamugi Talapa, has granted a public holiday for the entire day tomorrow, December 31, in preparation for New Year’s celebrations.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the holiday applies to all public workers and employees. However, the right to suspend work does not extend to those performing activities that, by their nature, cannot be interrupted, as stipulated in paragraph 2 of article 3 of the Regulation on Public Holidays.
