Seventeen shipments of liquefied natural gas (LNG) have already been made from Area 4 of the Rovuma Basin since the beginning of the commercialization of hydrocarbons in November of last year.
The Area 4 project is operated by the consortium led by Coral Sul and includes Mozambique’s Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (ENH) among its shareholders.
Without specifying the quantity of gas sold since the beginning of the operation, ENH chairman Estevao Pale said that the extraction of natural gas in Area 4 was proceeding satisfactorily.
