The Mozambique-Saudi Arabia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIM-AS) plans to hold a business forum for Saudi businesspeople, providing information about the economic potential, fiscal policy, and social and political environment of our country.
“Saudi businesspeople have a lot of money and are willing to invest,” president of CCIM-AS Muhammad Al Amin enthuses.
As Al Amin points out, the forum is particularly pertinent because businesspeople in Saudi Arabia do not know the realities of Mozambique regarding aspects essential for the realisation of investments, such as its economic potential, its social and political stability and the fiscal environment.
To this end, CCIM-AS is developing contacts with its Saudi counterpart through the embassies of Mozambique in Saudi Arabia and that Saudi Arabia in Mozambique, so that Saudi businesspeople can visit Mozambique easily and participate in the event.
Al Amin says that contacts that have already taken place confirm a Saudi Arabian presence in this year’s Maputo International Fair, consolidating the interest of Saudi companies in investing in Mozambique.
