Two brothers were stabbed, one seriously during a robbery on Himalaya Drive in Everest Heights – Verulamm KwaZulu Natal, in South Africa.
On Friday, October 28, at approximately 17:35 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to an informal settlement after receiving a call from a member of public reporting the incident. Upon arrival the 24 year old twin brothers were found standing on the roadside.
One of them was bleeding profusely from his wounds. Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Medics treated the brothers, who are Mozambican nationals for their injuries on scene before transporting them to hospital.
According to witnesses the brothers were accosted by two suspects who robbed them of R1400 in cash and their cellphones. After the victims handed over their valuables the suspects began stabbing them repeatedly before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
Reaction Officers patrolled the area in search of the suspects however no arrests were made.
