The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has sent a message of congratulations to his counterpart in the Republic of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, on the occasion of the 41st Anniversary of National Independence there, celebrated on April 18, 2021.
The Mozambican head of state uses the opportunity to renew his full commitment to continuing to work closely with his Zimbabwean counterpart, further strengthening the excellent relations of brotherhood, friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries and peoples, dating from the times of their common struggle for independence.
“I also reaffirm the commitment to continue to embrace our common desire for socio-economic development, peacekeeping, security and stability in our region, as well as to consolidate our multilateral cooperation within the framework of the SADC, African Union, United Nations and others international forums of which we are a part. Please accept, Excellency and dear brother, the assurance of my highest consideration,” the message from the Mozambican head of state reads.
