Mozambique: New water pumping station will benefit 72,000 people in Maputo
The Assembly of the Republic will inspect general state accounts for 2014 on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
The document is submitted to Parliament by the Council of Ministers after being examined by the Administrative Court in its capacity as Court of Auditors.
The General State Account is the Government document containing the budget and its financial execution, as well as presenting the results of the financial year and the evaluation of state organs’ and institutions’ performance.
According to Radio Moçambique, the General States Account for 2014 report that resources mobilised in 2014 amounted to about 239 billion meticais, corresponding to 96 percent of that year’s forecast and exceeding the 2013 financial year figure by 4.9 percentage points.
