Mozambican MPs to undergo training in electoral legislation matters ahead of legislative reform

The deputies of the Public Administration and Local Power Commission [ Comissão de Administração Pública e Poder Local] of the Assembly of the Republic will undergo training in the reform of electoral legislation.
The aim of the training, which runs from 25th to 28th, is to improve the performance of members of parliament in the assessment of legislation, and consolidate their capacity for analysis, debate, the dissemination of existing electoral legislation and the issuing of opinions in this area.
The training course will be facilitated by government researchers and National Commission of Elections personnel.
