Mozambican metical almost steady last week

Last week, the Mozambican currency kept its exchange rate practically unchanged against the Euro and US dollar.
In average terms, last week the Euro was bought in the country at 71.58 meticals, 28 cents of the metical more than the average of the previous week.
In turn, the average selling price was set at 72.95 meticais, a transaction 27 cents of metical more expensive, according to the weekly averages determined by Lusa from data of the Bank of Mozambique.
During the same period, the average reference purchase price for the Euro ranged between 71.37 and 71.72 meticais, while the sale price ranged between 72.76 and 73.10 meticais.
Last week, the Mozambican currency maintained the exchange rate practically unchanged against the US dollar (which is the basis for the calculation of the remaining currencies) with purchase averages at 60.78 and sale at 61.94.
