Mozambican international football referee Asselam Khan died on Thursday 27 April at the age of 50. The FIFA referee and instructor was hospitalised in India. Khan had represented Mozambique in several football world championships and taught refereeing courses in several countries.
Khan was resident commentator on STV sports programmes for many years.
