A Mozambican English Language Teaching institution has just been recognised with the BID International Arch of Europe for Quality and Technology Award by BID Group One, based in Spain, ‘O País’ reports today.
The award is granted annually by the BID Group One to entities and institutions that stand out in the pursuit of quality and excellence in their activities. For Africa, in particular Mozambique, the award came through the James English School, a private English-language teaching institution.
The Marketing Director of the James English School said on Tuesday that the award recognised the institution’s rise to the challenges proposed by Mozambican head of state Filipe Nyusi, concerning the need to invest in improving the quality of teaching in Mozambique so as to satisfy the labour requirements of current and forthcoming mega-projects.
BID Group One has awarded prizes to 179 companies and organisations worldwide since 1984.
