Mozambican Danilo Nhantumbo the first African to organize Presidential Golf in Dubai – RM

Mozambican Danilo Nhantumbo is the first African selected by the United Arab Emirates to organize Dubai’s Presidential Golf Tournament, an event that serves as a platform to promote investment and international trade between Africa and the world.

The event, considered one of the world’s premier economic diplomacy platforms, takes place between the 3rd and 4th of October of this year, and will be attended by dignitaries, businesspeople and investors from all over the world.

As executive president for the events, Danilo Nhantumbo is responsible for golf tournaments in several countries, including the Presidential Golf Day in the Republic of Angola with the support of the Angolan head of state, João Lourenço, and in Mozambique, with the approval of President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi.

According to a report published by Deloitte, a world reference company, the direct economic impact of golf in Dubai, where Nhantumbo will now regularly organise the event, is US$131 million per year.
