Mozambique: 'Dollarisation' of economy in post election crisis - central bank | Watch

The Mozambican currency registered slight gains against the Euro last week, according to daily exchange rates released by the central bank and followed by Lusa.
During the last week, the Euro was bought in the country for an average of 68.15 meticais, 52 metical cents less than in the previous week, while sale averaged 69.50 meticais, 53 metical cents more.
The US dollar – the currency used as the basis for calculating the reference exchange rates for the other currencies in Mozambique – was bought last week for an average of 60.38 meticais, while sale was made, on average, at 61.56 meticais, that is, with only marginal variations.
