Mozambican businessman kidnapped in Belo Horizonte, Boane – Watch

Abduction cases are in the news again in the province of Maputo – this time, in the Belo Horizonte neighbourhood, Boane district, Maputo province, where the victim is businessman Artur Magaia.
On Tuesday, a car was seen parked anomalously in the middle of the night in Chinonanquila, Boane, indicative of something out of the ordinary occurring. Minutes later, reports arrived on the alleged kidnapping of Artur Magaia , who was returning home.
According to Miramar TV’s source – who says that she was threatened nearby – security guards in the area did not deign to provide any assistance to the victim, who kept screaming as he was dragged into the vehicle.
The street where the businessman was kidnapped, being the access road to the interior of the neighbourhood, is usually busy, but the kidnappers took advantage of the darkness to achieve their intentions.
It is believed that one car was already waiting for the victim, while another was following him. The kidnappers apparently took nothing from the victim’s car.
The case is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Service in Maputo Province.
