Mozambique: Forecasts for gold output set at 1,641 kilograms in 2025

Mozambican and French entrepreneurs signed a cooperation protocol in the Rovuma basin gas and oil business in Maputo on Monday, Minister of Industry and Commerce Ragendra de Sousa asserting on the occasion that the hydrocarbon industry should not constitute a distraction.
Hydrocarbons in the Rovuma basin in Cabo Delgado province, northern Mozambique, continue to attract many interested parties from abroad, on this occasion, business people from France. Under the agreements signed, France will form partnerships and transfer knowledge to Mozambican companies.
The French business delegation is composed of about 30 companies with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, not least among them the multinational Total.
While the president of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique said that the industry offered Mozambican companies many great opportunities, the Minister of Industry and Commerce cautioned that the gas industry should not be the only vector of the economy.
