More than 1,000 recently dismissed Mafambisse sugar workers to be rehired as seasonal labour – RM

More than 1,000 workers recently dismissed from the Mafambisse sugar plant in Dondo, Sofala province, are to be rehired for seasonal work in the production of sugarcane.

The announcement was made by the director general of Açucareira de Mafambisse, Lucas Deventa, during a visit to the factory by the deputy minister of Labour and Social Security, Rolinho Farnela.

Rolinho Farnela encouraged the management of the Mafambisse sugar plant to find ways to safeguard jobs.
