The city of Mocuba is hosting its first international investment conference on the 26th and 27th of November, the launch ceremony for which took place in Quelimane, capital of Zambézia province, last Wednesday.
The conference is the first of its kind to be held in Zambézia, and will publicize the province’s potential in order to attract more investment.
Businesspeople who participated in the official launch consider the initiative most opportune, coming as it does when the economic sector is being hit by the Covid-19 crisis.
Governor of Zambézia Pio de Matos invited economic agents to participate in the conference actively and proactively, and use the opportunity to establish profitable business partnerships.
Zambézia State Secretary Judite Mussakula says that the first international investment conference is part of the government’s efforts to attract investments in order to boost development in the province.
The first international investment conference will be held under the motto: “Industrialisation as a Driving Factor for the Development of the Province of Zambézia”.
