The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security (MITESS) and the Foundation for Elimination of Child Labour in Tobacco Growing (ECLT) will sign a memorandum of understanding today with the aim of implementing a national action plan to combat the worst forms of child labour.
The Memorandum is budgeted at more than USD 1 million, which will fund a child labour action plan coordinating actions that promote child rights in various sectors.
