A 17 year-old boy with albinism who had been missing in Dedza district has been found dead in neighbouring Mozambique, according to Malawi Police
The boy, Fletcher Machinjiri, was a standard seven student at Tete primary school in the district. He went missing 10 days ago after he had gone to Tete football ground where he said he was going to watch football.
Dedza police deputy publicist Cassim Manda confirmed that they have found the mutilated body of the boy and have since arrested two people who abducted him.
The two abductors are Vuto Biswirk, 26, of Chimoto village T/A Kaphuka in Dedza and Emmanuel Robert, 20, of Kadambala village in the area of Traditional Authority Kachere in Dedza and currently both are in police custody.
Machinjiri hailed from Nambilika village in the area of Traditional Authority Kachere in the district.
