The Ministry of Labour is tightening the noose on companies that do not channel subscriptions to the INSS with the launch yesterday of the Intercommunication of the Nominal Relationship Sheet and the Social Security Information System of Mozambique.
Minister Vitória Diogo said the new system would permit greater scrutiny of the number of employees registered by companies in the Ministry of Labour and the number of workers enrolled in social security, meaning companies would no longer be able to cheat on social security contributions.
The system was announced yesterday at the 28th Ministry of Labour Coordinating Council, which lasts for three days and is taking place in Maputo. The meeting reviews actions carried out by the ministry and defines goals and strategies for the future.
