Mozambique: National Health System Law approved by cabinet, heading to parliament

Minister of Defence Atanásio M’tumuke has moved members of staff between positions in the ministry he directs, Notícias reported on Thursday.
In separate ministerial dispatches issued on Wednesday, M’tumuke ordered National Director and Deputy Director of Human Resources in the Ministry of National Defence, Edgar Cossa and Major Flora Chipanda, to cease their duties. Colonel Amelta Muiquija ceased functioning as Chef de Cabinet to the Minister, and Colonel Elias Mondlane ceased functioning as Head of the Department of Productive Activities at the Civic Service of Mozambique.
In other ministerial dispatches, M’tumuke appointed Major Flora Chipanda to serve as National Director of Human Resources, and Colonel Joaquim Massavanhane Júnior as Director of the Office of Defence Attachés and simultaneously acting Chef de Cabinet of the Minister.
A statement from the Ministry of National Defence reveals that M’tumuke also appointed Captain-Lieutenant Fernando Mendonça and Major Atanásio Phiri to serve as Commanders of Production Units at the Civic Services of Mozambique in Tsangano and Chókwè, respectively.
The same communiqué states that Colonel Daniel Chabango was appointed to serve as Head of the Department of Productive Activities at the Civic Service of Mozambique.
