Mozambique: International reserves fall to one-year low

A Mozambican delegation headed by Minister of Industry and Commerce Silvino Moreno participated on behalf of President Filipe Nyusi in the 2023 Africa CEO Forum in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, from 5 to 6 June.
The Mozambican delegation was made up of senior staff from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the National Petroleum Institute (INP) and Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM).
Mozambique’s participation in this event had several goals, including:
The Africa CEO Forum included high-level panels on Industrial Development, Agricultural Value Chains, Energy Transition, Renewable Energies, Hydrocarbons, Digital Commerce, Industrial Decarbonisation, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Urban Economic Development, circular economy, productive financing solutions, Local Content and opportunities of the African Continental Free Trade Area.
African heads of state and governments, more than 1,700 private sector corporations from different areas and various cooperation and development agencies participated in the event.
