You can feel it in the air. Mozambique needs good news so much. Everyone, even those usually away from Football matches and soccer controversies secretly hopes that the Mambas make it today. At 5:30 p.m. today Maputo time, Mozambique’s national football team meets its Ghanaian counterpart in the CAN-2017 third round Group H match.
The Mambas need to win today to keep alive their dream of being part of Africa’s biggest football competition.
The team all hopes are focused upon is currently languishing at the bottom of Group H without points, having lost twice in as many games, conceding two goals and scoring none.
To secure a place in Gabon next year, the national team must win the all four group stage games it has left to play.
