Mozambique: Court declares administrative acts in intervention at Moza Banco null and void - Lusa

Millennium bim has been awarded the “Bank of the Year of Mozambique” prize in London, UK, by the prestigious international magazine “The Banker”, a world reference in information on financial markets and analysis of the banking sector.
This is the 11th time that Millennium bim has been awarded by The Banker for its performance in the banking sector. The “Bank of the Year of Mozambique” award joins other prominent international prizes from Euromoney and Global Finance, making Millennium bim the most-decorated bank in the country.
The distinction for Millennium bim also reflects the soundness and quality of the bank’s results, its capacity for innovation and the implementation of sustainable growth strategies, and its commitment to social and economic inclusion through investment in the banking system in Mozambique.
According to José Reino da Costa, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Millennium bim, “it is an honour to receive this international award. Once again, the bank’s excellence, innovation and contribution to the Mozambican financial system and market are being recognised. It is also a recognition of the work of Millennium bim team members who, every day, seek to respond to the needs of our clients with great professionalism”.
The Banker awards are a benchmark for all international banking. The evaluation criteria for the award of this prize are based on indicators of good management, expansion strategy and innovation in the promotion of new products and services.
