Millennium bim voted Best Digital Bank of Mozambique

The financial magazine Global Finance has voted Millennium bim “Best Digital Bank of Mozambique 2018” for its performance in the Mozambican banking sector.
The bank conducts seven million transactions monthly through its Millennium Izi digital internet banking platform for individuals and companies, a statement sent to O País reads.
Award selection criteria include the strength of the bank’s strategy in attracting and servicing its digital customers, its success in driving customers to digital, growth in digital customers, and the breadth of product offerings and benefits from digital initiatives and mobile devices.
For José Reino da Costa, chairman of Millennium bim’s executive committee, “The bank looks at innovation and new technologies as a means of getting closer to its customers. This award recognises the quality work associated with the innovation that the bank places at the disposal of its clients”.
The bank has launched an Innovation Desk, where customers can experience Millennium bim’s digital innovations, and where the first card-issuing machine was installed.
