Mozambique launches e-Procurement system

The government yesterday appointed Miguel José Matabel as chairman of the board of directors of Mozambique’s ports and railways company, CFM.
The information was released by government spokesperson Mouzinho Saíde at the end of the 1st ordinary session of the Council of Ministers.
Miguel José Matabel replaces Victor Pedro Gomes, who was recently appointed deputy-governor of the Bank of Mozambique.
Until his new appointment, Matabel was serving as chairman of the executive board of the state-owned Empresa Moçambicana de Seguros (EMOSE).
