The Mozambican Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) believes that the revision of the Commercial Code will gain Mozambique an upward revision of its international ‘doing business’ ranking.
Speaking today, the MIC’s National Director of Support to the Private Sector, Nicolau Sululo, said that setting up businesses was becoming much less bureaucratic.
One example is that the statutes of (business) societies no longer need to be published in full, “only the fundamental parts”.
The MIC is holding a seminar today (Monday) to advertise the changes to stakeholders, including participants from both the public and private sectors.
