Mozambique: 'Little Artists, Big Emotions'- an exhibition you don't want to miss

“Memoirs of the Combatants: From Clandestinity to National Independence”, a work chronicling the achievements and experiences of national liberation struggle combatants, was launched in the city of Pemba, Cabo Delgado, on Friday.
For the work’s presenter, António Tuzine, publication of the 378-page volume will serve as an inspiration and incentive strengthening unity and cohesion in the defence of the homeland among Mozambicans.
Also speaking at the launch, Elídio Langa, delegate of the Archive of Cultural Heritage (ARPAC) in Cabo Delgado, said that the work portrayed the experience of a heroic people.
Fidélis Miguel, Provincial Director of the Combatants Association, described the book as a contribution to the dissemination of a vast and rich cultural mosaic, and the promotion of a history of Mozambique that would inspire future generations.
The memories recorded in the book are those of combatants from the provinces of Cabo Delgado, Niassa, Tete, Manica, Sofala Gaza and Inhambane.
