In the afternoon of April 12th, 2022, in Hanoi, Member of the Politburo, President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA), Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang chaired a meeting and working session with Mozambique’s Ambassador to Viet Nam Leonardo Leonardo Rosario Manuel Pene.
Attending the meeting were Assoc. Prof, Dr. Duong Trung Y, HCMA Vice President; representatives of the HCMA units along with associates and employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique to Vietnam.
Congratulating Mozambican government and the Liberation Front of Mozambique on the recent success of developing economy and society, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, member of the Politburo, President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, highly appreciated the results of cooperation between two sides.
Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang informed his guest that his Academy has held two training courses on building the Party and political system, and the local management system for Mozambican officials.
Regarding cooperation in the coming time, Prof., Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang proposed joint work in translating President Ho Chi Minh’s works into other languages, adding that the academy can provide two scholarships for officials of the Liberation Front of Mozambique to pursue doctoral training in Vietnam.
.Deeply accepting recommendations and suggestions of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Ambassador Leonardo Leonardo Rosario Manuel Pene highly agreed on the necessity and importance of this cooperation between two sides. He also asked the Academy to provide Mozambique with policy advice for national stability and development.
Mr Leonardo Leonardo Rosario Manuel Pene affirmed that Mozambique’s high-ranking leaders attach importance to the relations with Viet Nam, hoping to expand cooperation in all fields. He committed to doing his utmost to deepen the two sides’ relationship during his tenure, striving to promote the bilateral relationship between Mozambique and Vietnam.
Mozambique’s Ambassador to Viet Nam said that he and his colleagues look forward to continuing to coordinate, collaborate and work closely with the Academy to implement the cooperation programs and projects in the future.
