Matola: One dead, more than 300 houses flooded after rainfall – report

One person died in Matola municipality and more than 300 houses were flooded following rain in that part of Maputo province.
The single fatality was struck by lightning as he was heading home in the Golhosa neighbourhood.
The rain caused damage in all three of Matola’s administrative posts, National Institute for Disaster Management (INGC) delegate Rocha Nuvunga said in Maputo in a preliminary assessment.
