Mozambique: President pays tribute to Pope Francis at Vatican funeral

President Filipe Nyusi has by presidential order appointed Maria Gustava to the position of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Mozambique to the People’s Republic of China.
In a separate presidential order, President Nyusi had released Gustava from the position of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Mozambique to the Kingdom of Indonesia, the Republic of East Timor, the Kingdom of Thailand and the post of High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique to the Republic of Singapore and the Malaysian Federation, a press release from the Presidency of the Republic sent to the AIM states.
Maria Gustava will occupy the vacancy left by Aires Ali, who was released from office last October.
