Mozambique: Over 26,000 displaced last week in Cabo Delgado - IOM
The Maputo Ring Road is losing around two million meticais a day as a result of toll road infrastructure not yet being in place. Development company Maputo Sulsays it has not yet built road tolls because of financial difficulties, but says the project will materialise later this year.
Toll construction is part of the Maputo Ring Road project and was expected to be completed by the end of 2016. However, although the road has been in use for more than two years, sites for the tolls identified and construction costs established, the tolls were not built.
According to the concessionaire, about 40,000 vehicles a day use the Costa do Sol-Chiango section alone.
The Maputo Ring Road project cost US$ 315 million, of which US$300 million was lent by China and US$15 million provided by the Government of Mozambique.

i suggest they FIRST FINISH the road…link it up to N4. Then if you want us to pay, allow us a speed of 120 on this high way….because i think the make 5 million a day on speeding fines….or bribes for speed
