Mozambique: Maputo hosts Music Therapy Conference

The President of the Municipal Council of the city of Maputo, Eneas Comiche, and his wife yesterday launched a campaign to produce two million masks, in the scope of the prevention of Covid-19. The masks will be distributed to residents, with particular emphasis on vulnerable people and those at greatest risk of contamination by the new coronavirus.
Maputo mayor, now fully recovered from his coronavirus infection, decided to lead the campaign to produce and distribute masks.
The factory at the Magoanine C Vocational Training Centre can produce just over one hundred masks per day.
Mayor Comiche and his wife started distributing the masks to the residents o the Magoanine Home for the Elderly.
Meanwhile, the Mahometan Community [Comunidade Mahometana] recently offered 3,000 Covid-19 prevention kits to Maputo Municipal Council, which will be distributed to the institution’s employees in order to mitigate the spread of the pandemic.
