Mozambique: Chapo visits cyclone-hit areas

It is becoming dangerous to travel at night in buses between South Africa and Mozambique, with passengers regularly robbed of money and mobile phones during the trip, TVM reports.
Leaders of the Mozambican community in South Africa are demanding better safety and buses in better condition because of robberies reported to have taken place on buses on the South African leg of the journey in recent weeks.
In the video below, Voa Portugues reports that the latest of such robberies took place on board am Inter Cape bus driving near Witbank last Sunday night. A video filmed by a passenger has since circulated on social networks. Inter Cape has confirmed the robbery which is reportedly under investigation by the South African police in Witbank.
Two weeks ago, another robbery occurred in the area of Nelspruit, in another bus on the Maputo-Johannesburg route. One of the robbers was caught and beaten up by passengers.
