Maputo International College fined nearly seven million meticais

A day after announcing the suspension of 34 foreign workers at Maputo International College, Maputo City Labor Inspectorate has fined the institution 6,850,000 meticais.
The 34 suspended workers, of Cameroonian, Zimbabwean, Philippine, Lebanese and Ghanaian nationality, were working as directors, teachers and accountants without proper work authorization, violating the regulations of the Mechanisms and Procedures for Contracting Citizens of Foreign Nationality.
