Mozambique is crucial partner for gas production and energy transition
Maputo will host a gas summit organised by the National Hydrocarbons Company (ENH) in collaboration with a London-based event company CWC Group next Thursday and Friday.
A round-table discussion preceding the summit will address the latest developments and perspectives in the gas sector, including aspects related to legislation and the participation of local companies in the national oil and gas industry throughout its value chain.
In addition to plenary session presentations and debates, this year’s summit also includes exhibitions by companies in the sector as well as other events such as the Gala Awards for Business and Individuals standing out for their contribution to the development of the Mozambican oil and gas industry, an Exceptional Women Forum and the 2nd Contest of Students of National Universities.
Participants will number the main players in the oil and gas industry in Mozambique, such as the government, industry operators, partner companies and financial institutions, and will be sponsored by ExxonMobil in the Platinum category, Anadarko, Mozambique LNG and BP in the Gold category, and TechnipFMC, Sasol, Siemens, Baker Hughes GE, Air Products, Subsea7 and Enmar in the Bronze category.
