Maputo yesterday hosted an international conference on asylum in Mozambique, Brazil and Argentina.
The event, co-organised by the Higher Institute for International Relations (ISRI) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), aimed to promote the sharing of experiences and best practices in matters related to the formulation of policies to support and protect refugees.
A press release from ISRI and UNHCR noted that the conference took place in the context of World Refugee Day celebrations, marked for the 20th of this month.
