The Governor of Maputo Province, Júlio Parruque, yesterday (21-07) paid a working visit to the Sir Motors Group MetroBus project, to learn about the expansion and construction of the Marracuene District Metro railway line, covering 27 kilometres from the Tchumene Node to Albazine.
The future terminal will be built at the Mihlulamete project in Marracuene.
Marracuene Administrator Shafee Sidat thanked Governor Parruque on behalf of the people, recalling that the district government had also reached agreement with Milhulamete over allocating space for a market near the future Metrobus station.
Governor Parruque urged Sidat to offer MetroBus all possible support, so as to speed the mobility project’s rapid implementation.
In turn, Sir Motors and MetroBus General Manager Amade Camal promised to do everything possible for the quantitative and qualitative materialisation of intermodal transport services in Maputo province.
